Energy Performance Certificates
Whether you are interested in checking on your carbon footprint, thinking of selling your house privately or commissioning your own HIP, Holland Broadbridge will be happy to provide you with an Energy Performance Certificate. An EPC not only shows the current energy efficiency level of your property in the form of a coloured bar chart similar to that seen on electrical appliances in the shops, it also indicates how you can improve the rating.
If you are a Landlord, you must have an EPC available on your property before you look for a new tenant. We will provide an EPC at a reasonable cost.
Our own fully qualified and accredited Energy Assessor operates to the same high standards of our agency. Unlike many companies, we do not contract this work out to self-employed Assessors. A visit to your property is necessary, but apart from taking dimensions and checking certain key energy-sensitive points, there is no disruption – the Assessor will take between 30 minutes and an hour at your property.
The cost is extremely reasonable and the EPC can currently be included in your HIP at any time within the next 12 months if you decide to put your house up for sale. This could save money on the cost of your HIP.
